Our Approach

  

Most people come in thinking there’s one problem area, their neck, their shoulders, their lower back. And yes, that’s where they feel it. But most of the time, that’s not the full story.


What we see every day are bodies that are constantly holding. Not always in a big, obvious way, but in a subtle tension that never fully switches off. And when that’s there, you can work on the same spot over and over again, and it still comes back. So we don’t just chase the pain. We pay attention to how your whole body is responding, where it’s holding, where it’s not letting go, where it’s doing more work than it needs to, and we work from there.


That also means we’re not trying to force change. You can always push deeper or use more pressure, but if your body is still holding underneath that, it won’t last. Instead, we work in a way your body can actually respond to. Sometimes that means slowing things down, or using less pressure than you expect, or simply adjusting as we go.And that’s usually when things start to shift.


What people notice isn’t just that it felt good on the day, but that their body feels different afterwards, not tightening up in the same way, not going straight back to where it was. You don’t need to know exactly what you need before you come in. That’s our job. You just need to notice that something isn’t shifting, and be open to trying a different way.

Jess

Physiotherapist, Founder of Ettalong Massage

 

 Jess is a physiotherapist with over 22 years of experience.

Throughout her career, she repeatedly saw women living with chronic pain, tension, headaches, jaw clenching, fatigue, digestive issues, and sleep disruption - often after trying countless treatments aimed at individual symptoms. Protocols were followed, but lasting change was rare.

Her own search for a deeper explanation led her to specialised training in nervous system regulation with one of the world’s leading educators, Jessica Maguire. For the first time, the patterns she had observed for decades made sense: many physical symptoms are rooted not in isolated structures, but in how the nervous system responds to stress over time.

Jess never felt at home in fast-paced, protocol-driven physiotherapy. Her work has evolved into longer, intentional, hands-on sessions that integrate clinical knowledge with a nervous-system-informed approach. She works with the body rather than pushing against it, creating the conditions for greater ease, movement, and resilience to emerge naturally.

Her vision is to offer care that honours the whole person - building a space where women can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience meaningful, lasting change. 


Available Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Friday.

Pavlina

Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist


Pavlina is a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer
With a strong background in powerlifting and fitness, she understands first-hand how targeted massage therapy can boost recovery, enhance performance, and help prevent injury. She has worked alongside an Osteopath in a busy private practice, treating a wide variety of clients with diverse needs. Her goal is simple: to help you move better, perform at your best, and live pain-free. 

Available Monday, every secondTuesday morning, Thursday and every second Saturday. 


Julie

Remedial, Lymphoedema & Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist


Julie is a highly experienced and compassionate Level 2 Lymphoedema Therapist with over 8 years of dedicated practice. Specialising in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), she supports clients through a range of needs including lymphoedema management, post-surgical recovery (including liposuction and other cosmetic surgeries), and immune system support.

Julie is passionate about enhancing overall wellbeing and offers tailored care for individuals undergoing cancer treatment as well as those navigating post-cancer challenges. Her skill set also includes specialised scar release therapy and effective treatment for cording.

Known for her friendly and caring approach, Julie is committed to helping every client feel supported, understood, and empowered on their journey to better health and recovery. Available Tuesday, every second Wednesday, Thursday and every second Saturday.

Shelley

 

Remedial Massage Therapist


 

Shelley is a skilled Remedial Massage Therapist and founder of Health and Soul Massage Therapy. With over six years of experience in the industry, Shelley takes a holistic approach, listening deeply and working with the understanding that the body and mind function as one.

Every treatment begins with guided breathwork to gently settle the nervous system followed by corrective hands-on techniques designed to reduce pain, improve movement and restore balance within the body.  

Shelley is committed to working collaboratively with you and your treatment plan whilst creating  space for your body to reset - helping you feel aligned, restored and supported. 

Services include: Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Relaxation Massage and Pregnancy Massage.

Available Monday, Wednesday and Friday.


Katie

 

Energy Practitioner


Katie is a qualified energy practitioner and founder of Mineral & Grace. She offers Reiki and EFT Tapping to support women experiencing stress, fatigue, or burnout. Her sessions are gentle and restorative, with a focus on calming the nervous system and creating space for balance and renewal.

With a passion for supporting mothers who feel overwhelmed and depleted, Katie helps women restore their nervous system and feel safe in their bodies again. She brings empathy and care to her work, helping clients feel seen, supported, and reconnected to themselves. 

Available every Saturday morning.
